Description

Fused cast AZS blocks are also called fused zirconium corundum bricks. The English abbreviation is AZS. It is arranged in the order of the three chemical components of the Al2O3-ZrO2-SiO2 ternary phase diagram according to their content. Al2O3 takes A, ZrO2 takes Z, and SiO2 takes S. AZS bricks can be divided into AZS33#, AZS36#, and AZS41# according to the content of ZrO2.

Fused cast AZS blocks / Fused zirconium corundum brick AZS33#:

The dense microstructure of AZS33# zirconium corundum bricks makes the bricks resistant to glass liquid corrosion and not easy to produce stones or other defects in glass kilns. It is the most widely used product in glass kilns, mainly suitable for the upper structure of the melting pool, the pool wall bricks and paving bricks of the working pool, the material channel, etc.

AZS33 is the most widely used product in the fused AZS series of products, and has excellent performance in preventing contamination of glass liquid. Widely used in the pool wall, pool bottom, upper structure and feed channel of glass furnace.


Fused cast AZS blocks / Fused zirconium corundum brick AZS36#:

In addition to the same eutectic body as AZS33# fused zirconium corundum brick, 36# AZS brick has more chain-like zirconium oxide crystals and lower glass phase content, so the corrosion resistance of 36# fused zirconium corundum brick is further enhanced, so it is suitable for areas with fast glass flow rate or high temperature.

AZS36 is an excellent product in the fused AZS series of products. It has high resistance to glass liquid corrosion and low pollution characteristics. It is usually used in key parts such as the pool wall near the hot spot of the melting pool of the glass furnace.


Fused cast AZS blocks / Fused zirconium corundum brick AZS41#:

In addition to the eutectic of silicon oxide and aluminum oxide, AZS41# fused zirconium corundum brick also contains more uniformly distributed zirconium oxide crystals. Its corrosion resistance is the best in the zirconium corundum brick system. Therefore, it is selected for the key parts of the glass furnace to balance the life of these parts with other parts.

AZS41 is the most excellent product in the AZS series of products. It has extremely high resistance to glass melt erosion and extremely high glass phase seepage temperature, and has extremely low pollution to glass melt. It is widely used in key parts such as the pool wall at the hot spot of the glass furnace, the corner of the feeding port, the liquid flow hole, the kiln sill, the pool bottom bubble and the all-electric melting furnace.

Casting method of Fused cast AZS blocks / Fused zirconium corundum brick

Electrocast zirconia corundum block is made by completely melting the raw materials and casting it in a casting mold, which is cooled and solidified. The shrinkage caused by the volume shrinkage of this product during condensation is a matter of special attention when using it. The casting methods of fused zirconium corundum bricks are ordinary casting (PT), inclined casting (QX), non-shrinkage casting (WS) and quasi-shrinkless casting (ZWS).

Fused cast AZS 33/36/41 bricks is widely used in glass melting furnace because the fused zirconium corundum brick is an important refractory material variety in modern glass melting furnaces. It is currently produced in a large amount in the world. It is a widely used refractory product. It has good resistance to glass erosion and resistance to rapid cooling and heat. The heat load performance is applied to all important parts of the furnace.

PT: The usual pouring method, the shrinkage hole of the product is located in the lower part of the casting mouth, and it is mostly used for the upper structure of the melting pool.

QX: The oblique casting method is adopted, and the shrinkage hole of the product is offset to the lower end, which is mainly used as a pool wall brick.

WS: Non-shrinkage casting, the non-shrinkage product of the shrinkage hole part of the cast brick is mainly used, such as the liquid erosion hole, the kiln sill, the corner of the pool wall, the paving surface, etc.

ZWS: Quasi-free shrinkage casting, mainly used as pool wall bricks, basically removing the shrinkage of the cast bricks, mainly used as pool wall bricks.
