Introduction of magnesia-chromium refractory castables

Magnesium-chromium refractory castables are classified as alkaline refractory materials. The high-purity magnesia aggregates and powders used are imported chromium corundum sand. The binders include phosphoric acid, phosphate, and polyphosphate. Magnesium-chromium refractory castables have the characteristics of high strength and good slag resistance. The operating temperature is 1500~1700℃. It is mainly used for thermal equipment such as steel drums and has excellent economic effects.

Application of magnesia-chromium refractory castable

Magnesium-chromium castables are mainly used in metallurgy, electric power, non-ferrous metals, petrochemicals, and building materials. Such as the bottom of the glass kiln, the front end of the front and rear kiln door cover cooler of the cement kiln, the front and rear kiln mouths, coal injection pipes, etc.; various heat treatment furnaces such as heating furnaces and soaking furnaces; medium frequency induction furnace lining, petrochemical catalysis High-temperature wear-resistant fabrics for cracking reactors and other industrial furnace fabrics. The construction methods of on-site pouring, alteration and ramming can be used.

Alkaline refractory castables have the characteristics of high strength and good slag resistance. The service temperature is 1500~1700℃. It is mainly used in steel drums and other thermal equipment, and has achieved good economic effects. In recent years, low-cement alkaline refractory castables have been developed, which have excellent performance and convenient construction, and are widely used, which limit the use of sodium polyphosphate alkaline refractory castables.
