Classification of thermal insulation refractory bricks
2022-04-12
Production introduction
Refractory bricks usually contain 30-40% alumina, and their main raw materials are usually combined with other materials. With the increase of alumina content, kiln bricks with alumina content of more than 80% can be obtained, and heat-insulating refractory bricks are one of them. Refractory bricks have low thermal conductivity and a small heat storage coefficient. They can be used as a hot surface or as an insulating layer for dense bricks. Insulation refractory bricks range from 23 to 32 grades and are currently widely used in flue insulation, hot blast stoves, and kiln backup insulation materials.
Classification of thermal insulation refractory bricks
(1) High-alumina heat-insulating light-weight refractory bricks.
High-alumina thermal insulation lightweight refractory bricks can be used for laying thermal insulation layers and components without strong erosion and corrosion of high-temperature molten materials. When in direct contact with the flame, the surface contact temperature of the high-alumina heat-insulating refractory brick should not be higher than 1350℃.
(2) Clay thermal insulation lightweight refractory bricks
It is a thermal insulation refractory brick made of refractory clay as raw material, with a content of 30% to 48%. In the production process, the combustion plus characteristic method and the foaming method are used. The product is made of refractory clay, floating beads, refractory clay clinker, binder, sawdust, and ingredients after stirring, molding, drying, and firing.
(3) It has the characteristics of lightweight, good sound insulation and heat insulation effect, and high compressive strength. It is mainly used for thermal insulation layers below 900 degrees, and can be used as industrial kilns and other. Thermal insulation materials for thermal equipment and thermal pipelines.
(4) Floating bead bricks.
It has the characteristics of a light body, thin wall, hollow, smooth surface, high temperature resistance and good heat insulation effect. These excellent properties of floating beads can be used to produce lightweight, high-quality heat-insulating refractory materials with excellent heat-insulating properties. Float bricks can be produced by semi-dry method.
