The refractoriness of high alumina brick is about 1770℃, and the softening temperature under load is 1420℃-1550℃.
Classification of high alumina bricks:
①According to the content of Al2O3, it is divided into: super high alumina bricks (AL2O3>80%); first grade high alumina bricks (Al2O3>75%); second grade high alumina bricks (Al2O3 at 60%-75%); third grade high alumina bricks (Al2O3 at 48%-60%).
② According to the firing process, it is divided into: fired high-alumina bricks and non-fired high-alumina bricks. The firing temperature of the first and second grade high-alumina bricks is 1500℃-1600℃, and the firing temperature of the third-grade high-alumina bricks is 1450℃-1500℃. Unfired high-alumina bricks mainly refer to phosphate high-alumina bricks.
③ According to the mineral composition, it is divided into five types: low mullite, mullite, mullite-corundum, corundum mullite and corundum.
