Mullite-silica brick for cement burning zone
Description of Mullite-silica brick
Mullite-silica Refractory Bricks is a kind of refractory brick mainly composed of mullite, andalusite, silicon carbide and special grade homogenization alumina by high pressure shaping and high temperature firing.
Mullite-silica Refractory Bricks is with good high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, low thermal conductivity, low energy consumption, etc. Currently, it covers the cooling zone and transitional zone of most cement kilns. Silicon mullite brick is of not only good thermal vibration performance, but also suitable thermal conductivity for cement kiln operation.
According to client's feedback, the temperature requirement outside cement kiln isn't more than 320ºC, but the tested temperature of silicon mullite brick is only 250~280ºC after using, which reduces the surface temperature of kiln shell significantly and energy consumption. Silicon mullite brick is also of very good thermal resistance, its refractoriness under load can reach 1600ºC, but for carrier in cement kiln is normally about 1400ºC, there won't be any problem after reusing for one year. It's also of good wear resistance which fully meets the international standard of refractory material.
Application of AZM 1550/1650/1680 Mullite-silica brick
Mullite-silica Refractory Bricks is widely used in decomposition zone and preheating zone of dry cement kiln, high wear parts of grate cooler and other parts scoured by rapid wind. It's of strong allocation adaptation. For traditional refractory allocation, spinel brick, magnesia-chromite brick, anti-stripping brick and other refractories of different performances are normally allocated in kilneye, former transitional zone, latter transitional zone and decomposition zone separately while silicon-mullite brick can cover all the craft zones except firing zone.
