Application of Magnesia chrome brick
Magnesia chrome brick is a high-temperature refractory material with excellent corrosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, erosion resistance and high temperature stability. It is widely used in various high-temperature industrial furnaces and equipment. Its main uses include:
1. Steel industry: Magnesia-chromium bricks can be used in the lining and thermal consolidation parts of high-temperature furnaces such as smelting furnaces, converters, electric furnaces, regenerative furnaces, and alumina reduction furnaces.
2. Aluminum fluoride industry: Magnesia-chromium bricks are commonly used refractory materials in the aluminum fluoride industry. They can be used for the lining of aluminum fluoride electrolytic cells, aluminum holding tanks, aluminum storage tanks, etc.
3. Chlor-alkali industry: Magnesia-chromium bricks can be used as linings for chlor-alkali electrolytic cells in the chlor-alkali industry. They have excellent resistance to chloride ion corrosion in magnesia-chromium bricks.
4. Petroleum industry: Magnesia-chromium bricks can be used in converters of petroleum catalytic cracking units, hydrogenation catalytic units as the bottom layer and dehydrogenation units. It can also be used as a cylinder in a catalytic cracking unit.
5. Environmental protection industry: Magnesia-chromium bricks can be used as lining materials for environmental protection equipment such as gas purification furnaces, flue gas heat exchangers, incinerators, and high-temperature exhaust gas treatment devices.
6. Other industrial fields: Magnesia-chromium bricks can also be used in the lining and fixed masonry of other high-temperature equipment such as steel shipbuilding, refractory powder metallurgy industry, petrochemical industry, cement industry, ceramic industry, etc.
It should be noted that the specific application scenarios and usage methods may vary slightly due to specific process requirements and material properties. Therefore, when selecting and using magnesia-chrome bricks, the selection and application should be based on specific process needs and design requirements.
