High-alumina refractory brick, that is, alumina content of more than 48% of the aluminum silicate refractories. Made from bauxite or other raw materials with high alumina content after molding and calcination. High thermal stability and fire resistance above 1770 ℃. The slag resistance is better. One of the important working properties of high alumina refractory brick is the structural strength at high temperature, which is usually evaluated by load softening deformation temperature. The creep property at high temperature is also measured to reflect the strength of the structure at high temperature. The results show that the load softening temperature increases with the increase of Al2O3 content. For high alumina refractory brick with Al2O3 content below 70%, the load softening temperature depends on the ratio of mullite phase to liquid phase, and increases with the increase of mullite content. The amount and properties of the liquid phase have a significant effect on the softening temperature. Therefore, reducing the impurity content in the raw material is beneficial to improve the load softening temperature and the creep property at high temperature.
