High chrome bricks are made of industrial grade chromium trioxide and alumina as the main raw materials, or a small amount of zirconia, etc., and fired at high temperature to obtain a shaped refractory product with a chromium trioxide content of not less than 75%, and a combined content of chromium trioxide, alumina and zirconia not less than 98%.
High chrome bricks have the characteristics of excellent corrosion resistance, high compressive strength at room temperature, high temperature strength, excellent wear resistance, high refractoriness, excellent thermal shock resistance, and high temperature volume stability.
High chrome bricks are mainly suitable for the working lining of industrial furnaces with reducing atmosphere. High chromium bricks are mainly used in the key parts of coal chemical furnaces, chemical industrial furnaces, rock wool fiber furnaces, waste incinerators, frit furnaces, glass glazes and other kilns.
